Realized the other day that Bill Paxton either has bit parts, co-stars, or stars in half of my favorite movies. He deserves his due-and-propers.
Check out this list:
Stripes
The Terminator
Weird Science
Commando
Aliens
Near Dark
Predator2
Navy Seals
Tombstone
True Lies
Apollo 13
Twister
Frailty (costarred&directed)
That is WILD. Most people don't think of him when they think of some of these movies, but he was in them. I think the first five flicks on the list are in my top 20 ALL-TIME. He's been in other stuff, but these are the ones that I liked the best. For instance: he was in Titanic- fairly successful film, NOT one of my favs.

Ah there it is, I had somebody talking to me at the time so I just glazed over the list and didnt see it.
 
Chet was def hillarious. I also thought Paxton was funny in Aliens. When the aliens attack their little fortified position (part right after motion sensors go off..."that's inside the room!...") Paxton loses his cool and starts talking trash to the aliens as he shoots them.... and then dies. If u don't remember, rewatch it. "Oh? You too?!? You want some of this?!?"
 
He's a world class sphincter in True Lies. Trying to convince Arnold & Arnold he's not really a spy. "I have to lie to chicks to get laid. I don't score much. I got a little [Richard]; it's pathetic. Please don't kill me! I'm not worth a bullet." R-D-R-R
 
frailty was awesome!
but not because of bill paxton's acting imo. i thoroughly enjoyed some of his work, but most of it i don't care for.
