Part of my ~30 pleco's diet is algae wafers (and lots of vegatables, some NLS pellets, and market shrimp for the carnavors). I like the ingredients in HBH:

Spirulina Powder, Alfalfa Meal, Pea Powder, Soy Flour, Wheat Flour, Fish Meal, Shrimp Meal, Brown Rice Flour, Wheat Starch, Fish Oil, Wheat Germ, Carrot Powder, Spinach Powder, Kelp Meal, Dried Brewer's Yeast, Glycerin, Soybean Oil, with added Vitamins and Minerals.

Better than Wardley's or Hikari (which I also use) that have less vegetable matter but don't dissolve within 5 minutes like HBH.

I was thinking of adding a binder to the HBH like gelatin, but I'm afraid that they would melt on contact with the liquid gelatin. Perhaps I could spray it on or use capillary action to soak up just a little.

Any suggestions before I get my cookie sheets out this weekend to experiment?

I currently have about 4 lbs of HBH and 2 lbs each of Wardley's and Hikari. If this doesn't work I will have to start making my own wafers.
