Bio chamber for Aquaclear and Filstar

Hi, how come the bio media for aquaclear is at the third chamber, after the chemical chamber, while the bio media for filstar is in second or middle chamber, before the chemical chamber? Thanks.

Not sure, but I believe as long as the bio media comes after mech it should make no difference.

Personally I only have mech and bio in my filstar canister, it really is a matter of personal preference as to the order/amounts/contents of your filter.

I ditch the carbon, and load up some more biomedia and purigen. You don't need carbon.
