Hey all. In the past I've gotten away with skipping a few filter cleanings and sticking two over the back filters to a new tank. I've never had a problem doing this.

However...I've never had anything larger than a 55. I'm setting up my 150 for a grow out tank for a silver and a motoro. ( yes, this tank is way too small long term. I know this and plan on doing a DIY tank in the basement in a year and half or so)

I've got a whisper 60 full of bacteria, and I started cycling a ct-550 uv a few weeks ago. My filtration plan is to run the whisper 60 and two ct-550uv. Think that should be sufficient to move the silver and motoro in? I could stick my messy 13 inch flower horn in for a while?

I figured this forum would be great with having experienced fish keepers with large tanks. Thanks for reading

Joe

Sufficient yes and that is the key word sufficient.
