Hey guy I have a couple sumps with bio balls in them. I came across these while brosing the media on www.drfostersandsmiths.com I have never seen them before. There are different kinds. filled with carbon, filled with filter foam, filled with small peices of ceramic, and regular bio balls has any one used these different kinds. And if so have you noticed any difference in the perfomance. Of these then regular applications of submerged foam, carbon, and ceramic. Oviously i am aware of the difference in using bio balls submerged and in a wet dry. Is there any difference in the performance of using these this way allso. Here is the link.
