I have been looking at quite a few different options for bio-media for my canister filters. I found a 2l container of matrix for fairly cheap on amazon. I was wondering how much it would take to fill 2 Magnum HOTs, a Cascade 1200, and a jebao 818? Just seeing if anyone else has any suggestions

I am not familiar with those type. If you do not get a response here maybe check with a LFS.

I have 3 different bio medias in 3 different canisters. One has ceramic rings, one has pot scrubbies, one has PVC chips and sponges. Works just fine and cheap. I found the ceramic rings on clearance which was nice.

I was looking into matrix for them since I have ceramic rings in one and it is going well for the ammonia and nitrite but not so much on nitrates which matrix claims to reduce as well
