Bio media for emp 400

I asked this question a while ago, I want more bio media for the extra slot in my emp 400, is there any cheap household items I can use, (like scrubbies in a wet/dry) I was thinking maby a sponge? If not I guess I can just buy some Ehfisubstrat stuff or a super cartridge

In my experience.......nothing really fits back there quite right............just spend the 20 bucks for a liter of substrat pro and you should have enough to fill 4 slots or 2 emp 400's............i used to run 4 cartridges but got fed up paying all that $$ for them.......... now i run 2 in the rear and 2 substart pro filled grey extra cartidges............crystal clear water now!!!
