Bio media in overflow ???

Do you juy's have or suggest bio media in the over flow box ????

nothing in the over flow box. if anything at all, just sponge or floss but i'd let it all flow down to the sump.

I don't have biomedia in my overflow either. I just have porous sponges as prefilters to catch some of the debris over the piping. Not enough to consider as biomedia though.

If your settup allows a good bog plant will help remove nitrates and other nutrients. Make sure the roots don't clog your plumbing!
