Just a simple question, if I am using Bio-Spira or Dr. Tims One and Only to quickly cycle a brackish tank, do I use the FW version, the SW version, or half and half?

I would personally use the freshwater version. Some products take longer, but may be used for both FW and SW, such as "cycle" by Hagen Aqua-Clear. You might have to wait a couple days or a week, but it should do for brackish.

That being said, I believe osmoregulation in species that require brackish water to be more similar to that in freshwater fishes.
