Bio Wheels in the UK?

Why the heck does no uk website have these? Can anyone help?

Do the penguin USA ones do a sort of "waterfall effect" or is it just a wheel. I'm trying to get a waterfall. I don't want to buy off the marineland USA site as it'll be a different plug.

How do i get this waterfall like effect?

Hm, anywhere I can get these in the uk online? I have space for inlet and exhaust returns in my tank (I use an EX1200 tetratec) wondering if there will be enough room.
If anyone has any sites - please post!

here does one http://www.edkins.com/acatalog/Filters_and_Filter_Accessories.html and ebay do but they are not particularly large filters. no bio wheel tho just the basic HOB.

EBAY is your best place to look. Marineland actually discontinue the Bio Wheel Pro 60. You can still buy Emperor and Penguin hang on the back. From personal experience I think the Penguin make more and louder splashing noises but I think the Emperor is a better built filter.

yep. the emperor cycles more gph than a penguin of the same size. emperor 400 vs penguin 350, for instance.

the emperor has two pumps, one to pull water from the tank, and one to spray water over the wheels.

My tank has a sort of weird ledge in it, im wondering if i could fit one of these without having to put a hole in the top. Any knowledgable person tell me if this is true?
I own a RENA Aqualife bowfront aquarium 220litres.
