I orderd some marnieland bioballs for my eheim 2217 canister filter thats on my show tank.
I was wondering what order should i put them in my canister
Should the water flow through the balls then the pad then back into the tank or through the pad then balls

Normally, there's a coarse sponge on the bottom (where the water enters), then biomedia, then a fine sponge (or floss) on the top for water polishing. That's how I always did it. The fine media will obviously clog more often.. but with this setup, the water hits the fine media last and the fine media is easier to change (since it's on top).

Saw your 55 gal tank in the other thread.. Looks nice!

Water should flow through pads first to protect the bioballs form being clogged.
