I orderd some marnieland bioballs for my eheim 2217 canister filter thats on my show tank.
I was wondering what order should i put them in my canister
Should the water flow through the balls then the pad then back into the tank or through the pad then balls

What would be the easiest to clean? My filter pads are on the top then bio-balls. It's very easy to reach in and pull the pad out and replace it. Bio-Balls never need to be cleaned so I put them on the bottom.

With the limited volume of the 2217, I would recommend using seachem matrix instead of bioballs. They work best exposed to air, like in a trickle style setup.
