Biocube 14 ecoxotic LED

Got a good deal on this BC14 from another forum member, so decided to upgrade the fans and the lighting to led.

12K White/445nm Blue and
12.5" 6 watt Stunner LED 453nm Blue with inline dimmer

pretty easy install just had to remove the the PC lighting, relocate the stock moon lights and the unit installs w/ screws and 3m tape.
hard to tell from the picture , but the first one is PC and last pic is LED. Makes a big difference more shimmer and color with LED.

I like it. I was going to do the same thing to my two biocube 8s. Do you still need the fans? I thought that the LEDs didnt put out any heat

Update, so far lighting has kept every thing alive, temp has stayed @ 80.3

I wouldn't think he needs a chiller and the fans. I would think he has a heater to help keep the temp stable at night.

I've been itching to try a small reef setup. My biggest concern is temp stability, Thanks!
