biocube protein skimer

I have the biocube protein skimmer for my 14 gallon biocube.

How do I tune it? how high do the bubbles go. Im really confused how the damn thing works at all. the instructions were no help.

Also, i have no room for my filter cartridge now cause the skimmer is in chamber one. Should i not use one anymore?

also, the regular light in my biocube was barley working when i got it. i would turn it on and it would take forever to turn on. and now wont turn on at all. what should i do?

They really wont work efectively... I have a 14g biocube and a 12g aquapod,.. One has a skimmer one doesnt, and they are stocked about the same. There isnt really a difference between the two, and the skimmer just fills with water no mater how I tune it. Try added more bubbles if anything... Also, I would really try to keep your filter cartrige in..the carbon helps alot if you plan on keeping coral.

The lighting sounds like you got some bad ballasts,..I would email the company, they will ask for a picture of your reciept and replace the ballasts free of chage.
