q: how big would the bioload be?
i am thinking of feeding 1 wardley pellet to the S.gibbi and 1 block frozen blood worms for oscar
is this to poopy if you know what i mean. i could i add another fish?

You havent told us how big they are yet. You shouldnt worry about bio-load if you have the correct filtration. Do you plan on rehomeing or moving those fish to a bigger tank?

That tank is not going to be able to support those two inhabitants for long at all. Stunting aside, they are both messy fish, and will tax even a strong bio filtration system. The biggest issue for you is the physical amount of water that you have. I'd recommend either getting rid of one fish, or getting a bigger tank.

If the water volume isn't enough for the output, the nitrate levels will grow too fast for a person to keep up with. Given a big enough filter, bio loads can be very high, but that only holds up to a certain point.

I wouldnt recommend either fish in a 30gal for any amount of time. A 30 gal can house many fish for life in there, why not go that route instead? you and your fish would be much happier.
