Which one do you use? How long before you feel that you need to replace them?

i use scrubbies, never have to replace them...ok maybe eventualy when they start to fall apart after years and years

Oh, I'm stupid, I use bio max but I clicked other.

Bio-Max. I don't replace them. I simply take them and clean them with water from my tanks.

bio balls i dont think i have to ever replace them just rinse every once in a blue moon. somebody correct me if im wrong

I use Biomax,Scrubbies and Bio Balls on different filters and never replaced them yet.

i use, Fluval Bio Max, Eheim Substrat pro and Seachem pond Matrix.

My Biomax and bioballs are in the last chamber of my sump behind all the other filter media so they stay clean.No need to clean them

I like using quite a few different biomedia, but overall my favorite would be the expensive and really porous ceramic rings although I use bio balls in my nitrate coil.
