I hate to be "that guy" but can someone help me find the list a member posted a couple years ago that shows cichlid species found by river? I have tried searching to no end and am hoping someone saved it.

Specifically I am looking for species found in the Rio Tumbes (cichlid or not), any list will do.

I can't help you on the link, but when I looked up the rio Tumbes I found out I've been very near it! I studied in Ecuador for a summer about fifteen years ago, and while there I traveled to Vilcabamba to see the fountain of youth. We (my then-future wife and I) flew in and out of Loja, and apparently the Rio Tumbes originates in the Loja province. It really is a small, small, world...

Didn't the CRC have a list similar to that?

I asked Juan Artigas a while back and his response was they have not compiled that list yet. I was specifically referring to the Rio Tumbes when I asked hin though so it may have been completed for other locations. I honestly don't know. I swear I thought it was posted here on MFK. I'll poke around CRC and post here if I find it.
