I picked up a pair of V. Synspilum a couple of months ago and they've been thriving and spawning in my outdoor heated pond (300gal). Just picked up a 6ft 200g tank for their winter home and want ideas on their native/natural setting - gravel, driftwood, rocks, etc. Tank mates include Tigrinis cat and a few plecos.

I keep a large wild discus tank that's setup with white pool sand, drift wood and some floating plants. Was tempting to go with planted tank but I enjoy watching them in their natural surroundings. Want to do the same with my new monsters.

Thanks,

Andy

planted tank and veija not likely gonna work, i would stick with the driftwood and rocks. give it a shot with the plants though it would look good if it works.
