im running a 304 with the biowheel 60s i wanna take them off of the filter and run them off of a powerhead or a pump any suggestions or should i just keep them on the fluval since the water does not go through all the media thanks in advance

Are you planning on moving the biowheels to a new aquarium setup or leaving them with the present aquarium?

If your leaving them on the present setup, than just leave them attached to the 304. Biowheels work the same no matter what mechanism is making them turn.

what concern do you have with your current setup? do you want to set them up to a powerhead to increase water movement?

wanted to increase my filtration and was thinking of moving one of my biowheels to my turtal tank i have 2 filters on it (fluval 203 and whisper intank 40i) and i cant get my amonia to zero

How long have you had the two filters setup on your turtle tank? Sounds like a cycline problem. What size is(are) the turtle(s)? What size tank is it?

its a 20 long and the turtle is 2 inches the 203 has been on there 8 months the whisper only about 2 months tank was cycled pior to turtle going in it
