birchir compatibility

can i keep a smaller birchir species with a fire eel in a 55g then later to a 125g

As long as the bichir isn't big enough to eat the eel, you should be fine. I've seen plenty of tanks with bichirs and fire eels.

im thinking of getting one to do the same thing with my 8'' senegal and others as long as they can't eat each other it should be okay

well i just got a fire eel and its with my senegal right now with no problems
