Cool concept:popcorn:

Imagine something like a 5-700g tank with a nice size reptile habitat suspended in the center of it. You would have to completely waterseal the habitat with all the lights & heatlamps in it, add an oxygen line and figure out a way to get into the thing for maintenance and whatnot....I guess better idea for a short one-time exhibit than for an actual setup:screwy:

looks like the cage is behind the tank...

The amount of "downforce" needed to keep an air-filled cage submerged all the way at the bottom of the tank would be staggering. i suppose you could put a 50lb weight at the bottom, but then good luck having that not crash through your tank.

you could probably do it if u had a steel support beam inside the tank, cutting through the glass and then sealed at both ends with silicone while screwed into the bottom of the terrarium while THAT is siliconed aswell.

In all honesty its PROBABLY just a photoshop.

And yeah I was thinking it'd be something like the terrarium would be mounted on 4 legs which drop down through the bottom of the aquarium (no different than drilling for plumbing really) which would hold it in place.

Its absolutely not a great possibility or anything, but its a cool idea :p

you're doing it wrong

you DO see the top of the cage is NOT underwater right?

Its easy to do, seal the bottom of the cage on the bottom of the tank, and have the top stick out, not hard at all.

Except for getting in to feed, water, and scrape up bird turd.

It makes for a good picture, but would suck in real life, maintenance wise.

That and the whole birds don't have gills thing
