i sort of mentioned this in my other thread but it may have got over looked

has anyone had a ray born when its tail curls around ie the tail comes off the body like normal then not going straight like normal but curves around like a look to face the side of the disk

it looks like the rays 2 sisters were massive and may have crushed the tail inside the mother

as the tail is cartlige which was pointed out the other day does anyone think the tail will straighten with time or stay like that

i was going to give it a month to see then maybe do a operation

now people may think im mad but my idea was to put a small cut at the side of the tail to straighted it then slip a drinking straw over the whole tail much like a splint and maybe the tail will fuse back straght

i think that would be a much better plan than super glue

i may just leave it and get rid for free or a very very cheap price as the ray is feeding great and has the best paturn

i agree i would wait a month or 2 and see what happens before you try some surgery.

at thins moment in time im not sure if the bend is at the tail or the spine as they are all eatting like pigs so very fat humps if its the spine then i dont think it will get any better

i will give it a month then see most people would have just culled it and said nothing but hey its good to share info
