Bit of problem with feeding my ray !

Hello fellow MFKr's

so here it is i have a peruvian motro which my good friend Dangerous Dan supplied me with !

so since i've had her she's been feeding on nuthing but earth worms, i can't get her off the worms and onto anything else, i've bought cocktail prawns and raw prawns and krill she won't take anyof them, i'm currently starving her from the worms and offering her crushed up peices of raw prawn which have been soaked in worm blood and juice.

by doing this it has presented another problem she's losing weight very fast ind is very skinny she's also going very pale in colour and is not very active.

what i want to do is get her onto some really good nurishing foods but she won't take any the worms ain't really nurishing enough for her and if i keep feeding her them i fear i'll never get her off them, she's only 8" or so, so still very young and more of a problem !

anyone help ?

Oh dear danny, she sounds pissed off at you lol, thats what happened to my 1st ray, but then eventually she started to eat again. i dont know what to suggest just keep trying. Good luck bro :D
 
If you can get it back onto worms, you could always do the Neo trick. Mince shrimp and use it to stuff the worm, kind of like a corn dog.

sounds messy but prob not a bad idea if you can do it. If shes not eating at all at the moment and doesn't look good for it, try getting her back onto anything.

i may try that i have hyperdermic needles which i use for fishing, i could liquidise some shrimp then inject it into the worms... not a bad idea huh !

one step a head of you there mate already did that water con's are fine, as for my other fish they all seem fine too there all eating well and swimming around fine.

she did eat one worm this morning, but turned her nose up at the second one i gave her.
