Back in action!
Just picked up this female friday evening. These bites are from last night or today. I fed the tank earlier today, but didn't put the lights on so I only noticed now. I'm guessing these are from the male moto? Does the aggression eventually dissipate or could it get worse?

it all depends... he might be trying to breed her

whats the size on your rays?

the males claspers mature? he might be ready to mate when the female is too small.

As pretty as she is, I would separate her so she doesn't get tore to pieces if he is trying to mate.

yea, he is mature, you need to seperate her for a while
at least till she is 10-12"

Stunning ray's brother!! GL with them man.. Look's like you'll have a pair on your hand's.

Crud. The only tank I have where she might be okay is a standard allglass 125 with a 12" red aro and three smaller tem pbass.

Will she attack the bass or aro? I can bear to lose a bass but if she attacked the red aro, I'm not sure what I would do.

I'll make some tank room. Just bring her down and I'll only charge you a D300.

Kidding of course, but good luck! I think it should be OK with the Aro and the Bass.......My motoro never paid any attention to any of the other fish in the tank. They're usually docile unless they're provoked.
