So my fancy percula attacks me everytime I feed the tank. he's not aggressive to tank mates but when I put my hand in the tank to give them food he rams my hand... Normal behavior?

Not surprising. I have had a few different damsels do that. They are the king of the tank so they don't feel the need to attack tankmates, but you are impeding on their territory so they go after you. Not a problem now, but remember what that means for new fish introduced later on.

Valid point. Should I go for smaller fish or larger fish? I feel small might get picked on but larger he might attack to assume dominance...

I heard that they do that. I don't think he likes you very much.

apparently he's got a complex

Clowns and other members of pomacentridae are very bold, and many of them are tank raised which doesnt help.

I have been bitten by clownfish, and other members. :D

Not as bad as being bitten by a trigger, or as bad as being shocked by an electric "eel" (knifefish)

you think a clown or a trigger is bad?just picked this guy up last week and he would hurt if he stung someone

Try it out and let us know! You always want to know how bad the sting of your fish is so you can warn your friends. especially if you have a blue ringed octo ;) [Warning, i am completely joking, a BROcto will kill you] sarcasm doesn't always come across on the nets

Yea, lion might kill you too if you have a bad reaction.

I have kept a couple, and fed them all, and have never been stung by a lion. Its pretty hard unless you are being stupid and or not paying attention.

That being said I was shocked by an electric "eel" two different times this week. I have to stop hand feeding that thing.
