So a few year ago, I was looking at my bag Hikari Massivore pellets and notice a really cool looking fish on the cover. The next day, I ask my LFS if he could order me one. A week later, I had my very first Endli Bichir. I liked him a lot for about a month and then he just became another fish in my collection. UNTIL RECENTLY!!!! I stumble upon the poly forum titled "Polypteridae Size (lengths)". After I read everyone's post, it happened...... I was BITTEN BY the BICHIR BUG!!! I was so impressed by these fish and their onwers, that I immediately ran to my LFS and bought every single Lower Jawed Poly I could find!
Here's what I got......
3 x Ornate 4-5 inches (1 possibly a short bodied)
3 x Endli 5-6 inches( 1 with a missing eye, named OneyeWillie. )
3 x Laps 5-6 inches ( I got all 3 of these guys for 40 bucks)
I also put in an order for an Ansorgii, PBB, and Congi.
