i am going to house a silver aro with a black aro together in a 400-440 gal tank with 3 mono or orino pbass and a rtc is this a good idea i will be getting both around 8 inches?

well you can try it out, i dont think its such a bad idea since there are alot of predatory fish in there.

I have a black and silver in a 370 .... and they are just fine with each other... Actually i think it looks Amazing with the color contrast... one with blue coloration and the other pinkish! Just make sure you introduce them into your tank at the same time. Plus you have a big tank so there are lots of room for them to swim.

nice, it doesnt hurt to try. i have a 8-9" inch jar, 4-8" orinos in a 60 gallon grow out. they were nippin each other the first week. now they all live happily. they swim together. also put some feedeers in so they can focus on them, and not each other. nice setup. post some pic. good luck

I have friend who had 3 together and they got along great. One died from eating a fake plant and the remaining two went to war. It can go either way. Keep an eye on it.
