Black and white S.Head????????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ask Kal-El; if anyone, he would know. Years ago I moved an adult snakehead for a friend (well over a metre long; chewed through a salmon net we used!) but that was befoe the "interdreadnought" and I don't think anyone had a clue what species it was. And since it was in Canada it wouldn't have been on a restricted list of any kind.

That adult was an increadible blue/black with alernating white; large patches of it along it's side; when it was young it was the colour of mud, obviously a survival colour when you're small.

Hi,

Channa micropeltes are black'nwhite.
Channa puctata and Channa panaw are nearly black and white
Channa sp. five stripe can get really black and white, depending on the moods.

But all are illegal in Massachusets
