Black areas on Red Devil?

When i first brought my Red Devil a couple of months ago all fins accept a small black spot on the dorsal fin was present, now i am seeing larger dark or black areas on his dorsal fin and his tail they look real cool i just want to know if this is normal? what does it mean? will they get bigger and will they possibley come on the body of the fish as well? I could be wrong but it looks like a nuchal hump may be developing too.

Thank you for the info!! i will try to wait another month or two and post pics on the original thread to see if we can see any difference in growth and dark areas..

This is a normal thing with these fish. The term "peeling" is usually what this is called. Sad to say the effect do not always last.
