Black Aro at LFS

Well I didn't purchase it as I don't have anywhere to house one atm but it was ~ 10" and they were asking $180, is this steep? This LFS is usually way overpriced but I've never seen a black aro in person so I don't know what they go for. Does it get as big as the silvers? This looks exactly like what I would want in the 150 in-wall tank when I get it done (60x24x25), would this house it?

That is actually a fair price if it's in good condition. They get about as long as silvers but IME grow slower. Some argue (Delgado) that they dont grow slower but I have had both and the Black is growing slower for sure
I've never seen one above 30" (even at the Shedd Aquarium where they have ~40" silvers).
The tank you mention would do well for a while but an upgrade would eventually be needed IMO.
