well, i've had him for a day now an his color is still black...don't think its due to stress. he pretty much immediately took over the tank from the ruling p.bass. only time will tell if he's really a black jardi though...

It looks nothing like a silver. Silvers and Blacks have tapered tails while Asians and Aussies have rounded tails like this one. Very cool fish indeed.

my LFS only had one, not sure about the eyes...may be the flash. don't think he's blind, seems fine aside from being super agro (like most jardi's) actually had to move my p.bass's because he kept chasing them around.
With pics like that i may just go get the one at our lfs!!! I may also bag the silver idea for a while... I could house the Jardini longer anayway
