Black aro tank mates

I'm building a custom 250-300g tank and am getting stock to begin grow outs. Only thing I am sure on is a black aro and possibly my Adonis pleco.

How would

1 black aro
6-7 red belly piranha
1 Leo/motoro ray

Anyone keep piranhas with a big aro?

Piranha no.

Rays very possibly ok.... Though i am always afraid of the tails...

Black aros go sell with more black aros.

You can try a chitala knife if you have the space...

no do not keep piranhas with anything they WILL %100 no if's buts doubts ,kill the other fish sooner or later if not right away.

Ok that is what I had thought. I didn't know if they would be scared to attack a large aro, I guess not.

The obvious has been stated.


Piranhas, red belly aka pygocentrus natteri are a shoaling fish, when one strikes they all strike, their teeth are razor sharp and they are VERY territorial! A shoal in the wild can strip a chicken within a minute.
