does anyone have a pic of a full grown black aro? i've heard they look like silver aro's when fully grown and i've heard that there fins are more colorful. i've seen some for sale in japan and they're black and yellow.
We have a nearly full grown where I work, they do look a lot like silvers as adults, but with a good diet and immaculate water conditions they get a blue sheen to them. their fins can be really deep royal blue if they've been well cared for. That's why generally only the babies are called blacks, and the adults go by 'blue aro'. Same specie, two different names.
