Black aros in FL?

does anyone know why these are illegal in Florida? You would think the silvers would be too but that's not the case. I would like to get one like I had in NY years ago, but I guess that won't be happing any time soon...

Dont know, but there are alot of places in florida that actully sell black arowanas. big als was selling them a couple months back, and a couple lfs down here sold them.

i know places like Ekkwill and Seagrest Farms have these fish but can't sell them in-state.
 
nice looking store..nothing like that around here...i'm about 40m north of tampa...

Yea it's a great place, the prices are a bit on the steep side but I still like it.
 
don't mind paying for quality...plus looks like he has quite the overhead...
