I originally wanted to purchase only one black aro from Richard over at infiniteaquatics in the vendor forum, but through an error with paypal, I ended up buying two aros.

They are scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. The aros are 14" and will be in a 150g tank. Are they suitable to be tank mates or should I have them place in separate tanks?

You can but try, although watch closely and be ready to separate them as soon as you notice any trouble. It wouldn't be be first time two aro's had got on together, but there is a good chance they'll end up fighting.

Feel free to send the other one to me if it doesn't work out!

no i get the aro if it doesnt work im closer lol, id try it i dont forsee a problem but god invented the person who invented dividers for a reason

They'll arrive in a couple hours, I'll let you know how everything goes but from what I know it's going to be trial and error, but I have a reserve tank just in case.

Here are the pics of the tank and fish.

They are doing good so far.

Blacks are much easier to comm than silvers. Go for it...but be attentive.

Nice , good luck , i'm going to be doing the same soon but with 3 silvers about 13 inches each
