Plan:

125 g discus community tank
-6 discus
-6 oddball clown loaches
- school of harliquin rasboras

I want to get a black arow into this tank and i know he might eat my rasboras
but is he too aggressive for the discus?.

(im going to try and keep him well feed so he stays away from the rasboras/raise him up with the rasboras when hes small)

and will he need a bigger tank?

I think my black would be ok with discus, I've seen it show any aggression to any fish. It will probably eat the fish if they will fit in its mouth though.

If you get an aro, you will need a bigger tank.

definatly not. Hell out grow everyone sooner or later. You'll end up with a species tank.

how big are the discus?

No.. You are wrong.

South American Arowanas are fantastic tankmates with discus. And they look great together.

if it was a bigger tank than itd propably work but itd eat the rasboras.

Hey!!!! that's my idea:D

I am actually buying some heckels and greens, they'll be rooming with my black. Hopefully I will get them this weekend.

if the discus are grown up there should be no problem at all ( even with smallish discus ) I would vote for the chances of cohab...

Oh, sorry for jumping to conclusions. I knew they'd eat the raspora almost imediatly, but I was pretty sure the discus would be gone too. Sorry.
