My black arowana had it's dorsal fin down this morning. When I walked over and turned on the light, it swam to me and the fin went back up. I checked water params and they were A:0 Ni:0 Na:5 Ph 6.5. I fed it and it ate normally. After I walked away for a few minutes the fin went down again. The pectoral and anal fins are fine and it hasn't tucked those in. I'm pretty worried and I'm in class ATM so I'll post pics later if I have to. Does anyone know if this is a problem.

I've been watching it for the last few hours. It doesn't seem to be as active as before... or maybe I'm just over worrying. It still eats fine and but I have noticed that it takes pauses at certain spots in the tank before moving on. I don't know what could be wrong... water params are fine and I did a 25% water change as soon as I got home. It looks like it's bringing the fin in and tucking it. I thought perhaps it would be sick, but it doesn't tuck its' pectoral fins. I'm completely baffled.

It does look stressed, what have you been feeding it?

Hikari arowana food sticks twice a day. I break into little pieces and only what it can eat in 5 minutes. Occasional small pieces of market shrimp as a treat maybe once a week. Am I feeding too much? Not enough?

No, diet sounds OK. Temp in the tank OK? Any tankmates that may have become more aggressive?

Temp is at 81 F. Tank mates are an Ornate and 4 CLS. Ornate always stays at bottom and only comes up to breathe. Cls just dart around and do their thing. Arowana is always alone at the top by itself.
