Black Arowana Question

When do black arowanas come into season again? I was wanting to get one but the only size that anyone can get around here is a little over a foot and around 200 dollars. This is way too expensive for a black so I was wondering when they will be back in season.

I was going to get a black...but the price on a silver is alot cheaper and they are alot alike....Plus silver you can get almost anytime with the right LFS...Black's are harder to get.

Blacks are much more expensive than silvers, but they do have a certain appeal. What size tank do you intend to keep this in??? if it is the one in your sig, your going to need a MUCH bigger tank.

oh wow. that's kind of high. you could get green aro for this price here in canada.
but depends on preference.
then again, asian might be scared in calgary right?
