black arowana vs silver arowana

what are the differences besides the color? i read that blacks are slower growing and more sensitive?

I've also found them to be way less agressive, at least from my own experiences anyways. My 11" Black Arowana was being bullied into staying in one corner of my tank by a 6" Silver.....

would 100 for a 8 inch black be a good deal? and what about their size? same as a silver?

100 is pretty good for that size. It would be already of what some people would call the "difficult" stage for care. If you like the fish buy it. And they grow about the same rate as a silver.

most likely past it. As long as it is eating well you shouldnt have any problems.
