i want to know what size tank do u need for a black arowana i saw on an other website that they do well in a 125 gallon tank

They will do well in a 125 for a year or 2, but they basically have the same requirments as a silver.

It ought to be fine for a couple years at least. Black aros grow abit more slower than the silvers do. :)

I've kept a couple black aros before in the past... both grew over 2ft.+ too!! Had one in a 125g (6x18x20) and the other in a 240g (8x2x2) community. Both did perfectly well!

Thanks Steve. so have you! ;)

wow..nice community tank... i wish i have one like that

am still thingking what should i put as 'main' piece in my tank..
Thanks Im4u2nV. :)

Arowanas always make good center 'showpeice' fish!! All depends what your personal taste or preference is on fish? Me personally,,, i've always liked the 'Heavenly' dragons (aro), 'Earthly' dragons (bichir), and 'Tigers' (dat) look!!

Perhaps a 'Serpent?'... in there too maybe?!!
