Black arowana..

My LFS got a black arowana in today, just a juvi... about 3" long.

I'm considering, I know it wont be with mw for life, but how long could I keep it in a 5ft x 18" tank?

I don't have experience with the Black Aro but a Silver probably would outgrow that aquarium in a year.

I don't have experience with the Black Aro but a Silver probably would outgrow that aquarium in a year.

From my experience, both could reach 18" from that size in about half a year to a year depending on many factors.
