black arowanna and sting ray?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would think they would get along....i have a silver arow with a retic. i think it'll be Otay.

Should be fine but I read a lot of info's about rays and wow they are extremely difficult....you need plenty of time for these fragile guys....also I read threads about a ray killing several arowana's......a 22 inch ray killing a 24 inch arowana when it goes to the bottom to grab its food....also it's sting would definately be fun and enjoyable as well...if you know what I mean...being bit by a fish is nothing compared to a venomous sting......;)

Used to breed ray's, been stung by them - it's not fun. This one will have a tube around it's stinger ;)
Should be fine like I said, go for it bro...I look forward to seeing your set up.....what size tank ans substate are you using....also filtration.:D

i also reckon you should go for it.. the ray predominately stays along the bottow while the aros a top level swimmer, you shouldnt have a problem, ive seen this combo millions of times..

What did yo get bro? By the way, it should definitely work if you ask me. In my opinion, rays wont bother other fish as long as they are left alone. I REITERATE that that is just my opinion.
