Hey Guys,
I've been thinking about picking up a group of 8-10 Black Bar Silver Dollars. They'll be small, 2" or less....

What has been your experience w/ the black bars? How are they in terms of care and fish compatibility compared to regular silver dollars?

Post pictures if you have any!! Thanks

Ive kept 4 in my time, got 3 at the moment, smallest around 7" and biggest 10-11" they have just matured up recently i think that i have 2 males and 1 female. Not too hard to keep, like the company of each other and will mix well with other metynnis/myleus species.

They grow at a good pace, enjoy food such as flake, pellets, frozen food and mussle, prawn etc... Food with a lower protein content and higher fibre content.

i was looking for some myself(cant find any around here)
