Black Beauty Gravel

I was at the LFS looking for some gravel for my 90g. I ended up buying some crushed coral and some Black Beauty. After getting home I googled Black Beauty and learned it was sandblasting sand and its crushed slag. Does anyone use this or know if its safe?

If it was sold by your lfs and made by a aquatic company. I would use it.

Not sure on the company. Game in a plastic bag and it was tied with a string. It was sold at my LFS.
