I know I asked a similar question before. I've just kinda lost interest in the subject due to interest in other cichlids. I was wondering what the best way besides venting would be to identify male from female black belts are?. The reason i'm asking is because a lfs has them, and I'd like to get one but I'd like one with good coloration, some of them look a little bland while a few of em have really nice colors. they are all at about the 3" mark. Do males have more pink on em or what?

The male is larger, with more intense colors, and with age develop a hump on their forehead. Males have a pointed genital papilla
