Black Catfish?

Got this from a shop...and labeled Black Catfish.... great like it is some help....

They are really agressive and best kept alone or that is what I hear.

Hemibagrus wyckii is one of the meanest cats around. Anything in its tank will be eaten or killed (including other devil cats). This is one fish for a one-fish setup and that setup needs to be able to house it when it reaches its 28" adult size.

i seen one of those before about 8months ago i thought it was a stinking catfish from asia
i just didn't wanted my RTC to eat it.

I am sure it is an Asian catfish... and I was pretty sure it's a mean one....

but just wasn't sure what it was...had a couple of sleepless nights after seeing this fish but now its in my tank...alone

Yes! Its a Hemibagrus wyckii. I used to owned 1 ard 9 inches, but not for long. It almost kill my 18 inches Ornate Bircher. Even my 3 big Dats got no match to this Black Devil Cat.
So I ended up give it away
But I will definitely get one if I have a Spare Tank by itself
