Black con+black con=albino??

is the albino gene recessive??? After my male con killed my female con, the fry from the first batch are starting to look like convicts. i noticed there are several pure white convicts in there with some darker ones. theyre about 1 cm in length.


also is there anyway of knowing which parents has the gene? or would it the female that holds it?? if i wanted to breed more albinos would i need to have an albino female breed with a newly bought male con?

nvm..i figured it out. i suppose its pretty much not uncommon.

Not albinos, the are a pink variation of convict, I had a pair of barred cons that produced 20-25% pink fry.
