I have in a 30 breeder about 5 semi adult black convicts 2 pink convicts 6 Cls 1 sunfish(dont ask) and a minnow...

The babies are hatched and the mom is keeping them in a corner... the tank is planted... especially where the babies are... I understand that at someone point the mother and father escort the babies around the tank to look for food... I do not want to take the babies out or separate any of the fish... maybe ill take out the sunfish... my question is will they survive with the lineup????????

Without seeing your other fish I'm going to guess that some fry will be eaten but also the pair will kill/try to kill other fish in the tank.

You mith lose a couple but they will definetly suvive and i now becouse i have 2 pairs in a 55gal with 3firemouth, 3red jewels, 3blue acara, 15silver dollar, and 2spotted pike charasin, the first couple have 18 babysabout 1/2inch the second pair have 40 babys about 1centimeter and even i got bit by fist mama she tock a chunk out 2 centemeters wide

is it good to seperate after there born ?

I dont want to separate id rather then be cool... There were no casualties of war in my tank... The convicts picked a corner and defended it... plus its a nice planted tank..
