Hey everyone,

My BD pair have arrived in the shop today and they are delivering tomorrow to me ????

Any advice etc…. For first few weeks

I have massivore pellets, frozen shrimp and mussels and going to get Some Zophobas Super Worms tonight.

ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20

doing a 50% water change and tonight.

here’s a pic from shop, does all look ok?
They are about 7 inches, how old would that make them?

Hey everyone,

BD arrived last night. Acclimated for an hour and popped into the tank, got some attention initially from the tank mates but all ok now and the BD's are whizzing around the substrate and the female is surfing the front glass up and down and sideways. (love seeing this and her little face!!!).

My issue is they haven't eaten yet since I added them (13 hours ago). i got a video from the shop of them eating live fish. I have tried feeding massivore pellets, chopped shrimp and chopped mussels. They roll over them and suck them in towards their mouth but then don't seem to swallow them.

Is this an issue? With other fish I'm not worried if they don't eat for the first few days but I read with Stingrays they should eat straight away?

Water parameters are fine, did a 30% water change before adding them and will do another one today

Continue to starve them and feed them frozen they will eventually eat

Not sure where I’d get them
I’m Dubai.

can get superwors if you think that would work. Just chop them up as the rays arr Small?

Hey everyone,

so some good news. The female ate some chopped up shrimp this evening. Think the chunk was slightly too big as she was thrashing about a little bit with it. Is this normal?

the male is still a bit skittish and hides a bit but came out and showed some interest in the food. As I’m typing this, he keeps rolling over the top of it. Will hopefully start to eat.

its 11pm here, are they more nocturnal eaters?
