Black Diamond sand

I searched this forum and saw that some people said it was bad for fish, I am doing a big community with cories and a royal pleco as bottom fish, will it hurt my fish or my filters, they will be AC110s. Alos do i need snails to go through it as well

I use it and have no problems. I read that some fish like cories can get cuts on their barbels from it. My giraffe cat looks crazy with a cloud of it shooting from his gills. No problems with him.

It stays out of the water column pretty well. My royal pleco isn't bothered by my black diamond sand either.

Is there diff kinds, I am in ts and all I see is 20-40, is that ok

The bag is marked with several different grits, but the only one I ever see is the 20/40

think clown loaches would be fine in as well
